I love PVC. How did I go all these years not playing with PVC, it's like the new duct tape!
This chair is easy to make. Here's what you'll need:
1" PVC cut to the following lengths.
5 - 12"
4 - 10"
4 - 3"
6 - 6"
(Of course you can modify this to make your chair taller, deeper, wider, you get the idea)
4 elbow fittings
6 T fittings
4 3 way fittings
1/4 yard home decorator/canvas fabric
Coordinating thread
Here's the basic assembly.
Next cut a rectangle of fabric 54" by 10". Turn the long ends under. Sew the short end right sides together (so you made a big loop). Turn right side out. Top stitch leaving a gap at each end for the PVC. Fold in half a stitch a sleeve to accommodate last PVC pole. (I usually baste first to make sure it will all fit...I'm not the best seamstress.).
Use a rubber mallet to put it all together!! Done :)
